The only part of Mexico where the Caribbean Sea hits the coast is in Quintana Roo with beautiful crystal clear waters, white pristine sands and great beach resorts, clubs, night life and Restaurants.  

In Cancun city, the main boulevard is several miles long cruising next to the beach on one side and a lagoon on the other making a thin strip of sand in between, where the hotels and all the entertainment industry of Cancun is located.
